Each of our demo sites have been customized to show off the possibilites of the template. This template includes our Point. Click. GO! custom Joomla install option. You instantly create your Joomla site complete with custom content that is an exact clone of this demo site. The Point. Click. GO! package consists of a full Joomla install (latest version at the time of template production), complete with all of the demo images, content, modules, and extensions. By running the installer, you create an exact implementation of the demo site automatically.
This template only comes with Point.Click.GO! for Joomla 1.7
Why only for 1.7? What about 1.5 and 1.6?
We create our demos using a certain version of Joomla. In this case we used 1.7. Some demos are created in 1.5 if we are using components like VirtueMart or K2. Some were created in 1.6 befroe 1.7 was out. Those sites can be easily upgraded to 1.7. Templates are available for all versions but Point.Click.GO! packages are only available for whatever version the demo was created in. Creating and maintaining demos for every version of Joomla would be too prohibitive.
Point. Click. GO! includes a FULL Joomla install, in addition to the template and demo contents. The Joomla installation process is necessary in creating the demo content, therefore Point. Click. GO! will only work properly as NEW Joomla installation. It can not be used on an existing Joomla installation.
